FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A man is in the hospital following a family disturbance that led to the stabbing of two people in Central Fresno Wednesday night.
According to Fresno police, they responded to a call around 7 p.m. about one person stabbed in the 3700 Block of N. Cedar Ave. at the Cedar Woods apartment complex off Cedar and Dakota avenues.
Police say the stabbing was the result of a verbal family disturbance that turned physical.
Police say a boyfriend produced a knife during the disturbance and stabbed his girlfriend and another man at the location.
She was seen for her injuries at Community Regional Medical Center and has been released.
The male stabbing victim is stable and still in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
The male suspect was arrested, but detectives are not releasing his information yet.
