FRESNO, CA (KMJ) The NTSB continues to investigate the cause of a weekend plane crash in northwest Fresno as the death toll climbs to three.
Authorities have identified the third victim as 41-year-old Auberry resident Danna Eady, a flight instructor at Reedley College’s Flight Science Department.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says Eady was critically injured when a small passenger plane crashed near Sierra Sky Park Airport Saturday afternoon. She succumbed to her injuries Sunday in the hospital.
The plane was carrying four people when it went down near Blythe Avenue and caught fire on a bluff overlooking the San Joaquin River. Two children were pronounced dead at the scene. They have not been identified by investigators, however a fundraiser identifies them as Eady’s two youngest sons Pavel and Remus.
