FRESNO, CA (KMJ) The Fresno Chaffee Zoo is celebrating a big milestone for two of its most popular residents.
Fresno Chaffee Zoo‘s elephant calves, Thando and Davu, are turning two this month.
Born at about 200 pounds each, the young elephants have grown to nearly 1,500 pounds and continue to delight zoo staff and visitors.
To mark the occasion, the zoo is offering a limited-time special edition virtual adoption package.
Proceeds help support the care of Thando, Davu, and other animals at the zoo.
Virtual adoptions are available now through the ZooBorns program on the Fresno Chaffee Zoo website.
