MILLERTON LAKE, Calif. (KFSN) — The man who drowned in Millerton Lake on Sunday has been identified.
Officials say 28-year-old Alfonso Garcia Gopar of Madera was not wearing a life vest when he went underwater and did not resurface.
Emergency responders were called in to find the man. He was taken to the hospital, where officials say he was pronounced dead.
No other information has been released.
