CLOVIS, CA (KMJ) The father of murder victim Caleb Quick received an unexpected piece of mail recently. A letter of condolence from President Donald Trump and the First Lady, Melania.
Stephen Quick had recently reached out to the White House in an effort to garner federal support when it comes to fighting juvenile crime.
Caleb Quick was gunned down in April 2025 in the parking lot of a Clovis McDonald’s.
The male teen suspected shooter is due in court for a hearing again on Sept. 1. A judge recently ruled that the suspected getaway driver, a female teen, will be tried as a minor.
Last week, Quick joined KMJ’s Broeske & Musson to discuss the latest developments in the case as well as his effort to overturn California’s notorious soft-on-crime law Prop. 57.
