FRESNO, CA (KMJ) The City of Fresno has been granted immediate possession of Granite Park in Central Fresno.
The City terminated its lease with Central Valley Community Sports Foundation in 2025 and filed eviction proceedings to remove CVCSF as the Operator.
In an exclusive interview with KMJ’s Philip Teresi, CEO of CVCSF Terance Frazier responded to the move to push him out:
CVCSF asked to remain in the park while they appealed the ruling but the presiding judge declined their request.
In a news release Friday, the city said the park will continue to operate, and the existing reservations, league schedules, and scheduled events will be honored.
“The City will immediately begin addressing safety issues that have been deferred by CVCSF. We look forward to ensuring that there is a seamless transition for the community we serve,” said City Manager Georgeanne White.
