FRESNO, CA (KMJ) Lelan Lee was arraigned Tuesday on two counts of murder and other felony charges following the shooting deaths of two 15-year-olds in northeast Fresno in late March.
Officers arrested the 25-year-old after the teens were gunned down near Hoover High in the early morning hours of March 23rd.
A 14-year old was also hit by gunfire but survived.
Investigators have not revealed a motive in the killings.
Lee is also facing charges of attempted murder, shooting at an occupied vehicle, shooting at an inhabited dwelling and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The Fresno man has two prior strikes and was on parole at the time of murders. If convicted, Lee faces life without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.
The Fresno County DA’s office has not announced whether it will pursue capital punishment.
