SANGER, Calif. (KFSN) — The Sanger Unified Community is mourning the loss of a beloved middle school principal.
In a statement on Wednesday, the district announced the loss of Pete Munoz, who was the principal at Washington Academic Middle School.
The district remembered Munoz as a fearless advocate for his students, a champion for his teachers and a shining light within the community.
The district is offering grief counseling and mental health resources for students and staff.
