(KMJ) – The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office sent an email Tuesday afternoon to announce services for their fallen deputy, killed last week in the line of duty.
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that Sheriff Mike Boudreaux and the members of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office announce the funeral arrangements for our fallen brother, Deputy Randy Hoppert Jr.
Deputy Hoppert gave his life in service to the people of Tulare County—answering the call with courage, honor, and unwavering dedication. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Public Viewing to honor Deputy Hoppert:
April 27th – 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visalia First Assembly, 3737 S. Akers in Visalia.
We ask that no one arrives to the chapel before 4 p.m.
Funeral services to honor Deputy Hoppert:
April 28th -10 a.m. -Visalia First Assembly, 3737 S. Akers in Visalia
Members of the public are welcome to attend and stand in support of Deputy Hoppert’s family and the law enforcement community during this difficult time.
There will be no graveside service.
We ask that those attending please be respectful of the family and follow all directions from law enforcement personnel to ensure a safe and dignified service.
