FRESNO, CA (KMJ) The Fresno County DA’s office has filed murder charges against Joseph Gray in connection to a deadly crash last Friday that killed one and left another victim in critical condition.
Investigators say Gray was speeding eastbound on Dakota and blew through a red light at Chestnut Ave around midnight, smashing into another car.
The driver who died has not been identified.
Preliminary test results indicate Gray had a BAC of 0.13% and there was an odor of marijuana in his vehicle.
Three puppies were found Gray’s car, one of which suffered major injuries.
Gray is facing one count of murder and on count of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
