KERN COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — South Valley deputies made a major theft bust tied to a popular toy.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office reports that three men are charged with stealing an estimated $1 million worth of Legos.
The agency says a suspicious vehicle report last Wednesday led to their arrests in Mojave, about 70 miles southeast of Bakersfield.
The sheriff’s office alleges two freight trailers involved were also stolen, taken while in transit from Fort Worth, Texas, to Moreno Valley.
The suspects are charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and cargo theft.
