FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Three people are in the hospital after a crash in east central Fresno.
It happened after midnight Friday at Dakota and Chestnut, next to the Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
Police arrived to find two vehicles — one wrapped around a pole, and the other through a fence onto airport property.
One of the two people that crashed into the pole was thrown from the vehicle, while the other was trapped inside.
The driver of the other vehicle was still in the car that went through the fence.
Fire and EMS crews arrived to help the victims.
All three were taken to Community Regional Medical Center and are in critical condition.
There is no word if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Airport police are helping Fresno Police with possible surveillance video.
