(KMJ) Another woman has come forward accusing late labor leader Cesar Chavez of sexual assault.
Jennifer Andrea Porras says that in the 1990s, when she was 18 and working as a field organizer at UFW headquarters in Keene, CA Chavez made unwanted advances, including kissing and touching her without consent.
She shared her account with the Spanish‑language newspaper La Opinión.
Porras says when she threatened to expose him, she was pressured to stay silent and claims threats were made against her and her family.
Now 53, she says she came forward after three women — including Dolores Huerta — told the New York Times they endured years of abuse by Chavez, beginning when two of them were minors
