FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — One teen and an adult have been arrested after a stabbing and assault in West Central Fresno, injuring a 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl.
Officers were called to the Westwood Village Apartments on Shields and Valentine on Tuesday, just after 4 p.m., for reports of a fight.
When officers arrived, they found the two victims with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 19-year-old had suffered two stab wounds and the 15-year-old girl was assaulted.
The man and girl were both taken to the hospital. The girl was diagnosed with a possible concussion, and the man suffered a stab wound to the groin and upper body.
Investigators say the suspects drove away from the scene but were later located and arrested.
The teenage suspect has been booked into the Juvenile Justice Center and the adult was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
