TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — The Tulare County Office of Education is offering important training to save lives.
The Suicide Risk Screening and Community Resources training is happening next Thursday, February 19, at 2 p.m.
You can learn how to use the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale, a tool to screen for suicide risk and prevent suicide, along with other local resources to help students.
It does require you to register, you can find that link here.
If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or considering suicide, call the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988 or 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
