MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — The search continues for a 21-year-old Lupita Ontiveros, who went missing after a dune buggy crashed into a canal in Merced County.
The crash happened around midnight Wednesday at the Delta-Mendota Canal near Gustine.

Family members tell Action News that Ontiveros did not know how to swim but they remain hopeful that she will be found.
Dozens are joining the efforts to reunite the young mother with her toddler.
