FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The California Highway Patrol says undercover Drug Enforcement Administration agents detained three people on Highway 99 during a drug operation Thursday.
The incident happened during the evening commute on northbound Highway 99 near the Highway 180 interchange.
Action News cameras captured at least one of the detainees on the shoulder of the highway, surrounded by DEA agents and CHP officers.
The CHP says it was not involved in the incident and was only assisting in establishing a perimeter.
Further details of the investigation have yet to be released.
