MENDOTA, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — People living in Mendota will now have to drive farther if they need to do business at the DMV.
Friday afternoon, the location off Quince Street will serve its last customers.
The office closes for good at 4 pm.
The next closest location is more than 30 miles away in Madera at 1206 Maple Street.
There are also several offices in the Fresno area, and you can find directions on the DMV website.
The state agency provided no information about why the Mendota location is shutting down.
