FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A man has been hospitalized following a shooting in southeast Fresno early Monday morning.
A security guard called police, saying someone had been shot around 1:30 am.
It happened at the Shell gas station on Jensen and Maple.
Police say a man in his 30s was shot after an altercation took place between he and another person.
The victim ran away and asked for help at a nearby trailer park.
He was shot in the hand and leg and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he’s being treated.
Officers are reviewing security footage at the gas station to try to identify the suspect and the vehicle they arrived in.
The gas station is closed as the investigation continues.
