FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — A woman is being treated in the hospital after a stabbing in central Fresno.
It happened just after 10 pm Sunday at McKinley and West.
Officers say the victim and a witness were walking along Clinton and West when two women and three men approached them.
For an unknown reason, a fight broke out between the females.
The victim was stabbed in the stomach.
That’s when the group of five left the scene.
The victim called for help and was transported to a local hospital, where she currently has life-threatening injuries.
There is no word on any suspect descriptions at this time.
