FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Police announced Tuesday the arrest of a man accused of a violent carjacking and shooting in central Fresno.
32-year-old Adam Thammavong is now in the Fresno County jail facing multiple felony charges.
Investigators say he was riding a pink bicycle Monday in the area of Fulton and Nevada, near Catholic Charities, and pulled up to a car.

When the driver got out, police say the two men began fighting and Thammavong shot the victim once before driving away in his car.
After a high-speed pursuit, officers eventually arrested Thammavong at Fresno and Kearney Boulevard.
The victim, who has not been identified, is still recovering in the hospital.
