Buffalo Bills post on X

The Buffalo Bills and 2024 NFL MVP QB Josh Allen have reached an agreement on a new deal that will keep him in Buffalo through 2030, the team announced Sunday.

Allen, 29, and the Bills agreed to a six-year contract extension worth $330 million, with $250 million guaranteed. It’s the most guaranteed money given to a player in the history of the NFL.

The Firebaugh native was named the AP NFL Most Valuable Player in 2024 after recording 4,269 total yards, 41 total touchdowns and the fewest turnovers of his career (8).

Among his many NFL records set this season, Allen became the first player in NFL history with 5 straight 40+ total TD seasons.

Led by Allen, the Bills finished with a 13-4 record and a fifth-straight AFC East division title. They also reached the AFC Championship for the second time in the last five seasons.

Since coming into the league, the Reedley College and University of Wyoming star has the most wins (76), total TDs (262) & total yards (30,595) by any player all-time in their first seven seasons.

In Week 13, Allen passed Bills Legend and Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly for the most total touchdowns in franchise history.

Allen is a three-time Pro Bowl selection, two-time All-Pro and the reigning MVP.
