IVANHOE, CA (KMJ) – A drug investigation leads to the arrest of two men in Ivanhoe.

On May 2, Visalia PD’s Narcotics and Special Enforcement Unit served a search warrant at a residence on Waverly Court in Ivanhoe.

Officers arrested 29-year-old Jesus Villafan

He had been under investigation for narcotics sales within the city of Visalia.

When officers arrived, they arrested Villafan in the front yard.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Ruben Anguiano-Guardian jumped out of a back window and threw a loaded “ghost gun” and several pounds
of methamphetamine in the backyard.

He also threw a loaded semiautomatic rifle over a fence, where small children were present.

Officers quickly arrested both men and recovered the drugs and discarded weapons.

The semiautomatic rifle was stolen and illegally modified
