TEHACHAPI, CA (KMJ) A well-known south valley disc jockey has been found guilty of four counts of sexual abuse of four different children.
Kern County prosecutors say Roy “Mike” Kirk took advantage of friendships with the parents of his young victims. Between 2004-2012 the Tehachapi man molested four girls between the ages of 5 and 11.
DA Cynthia Zimmer commented; “It’s common for child predators to gain access to a child by using their power to silence and control them”.
Kirk faces a sentence of up to 100 years to life in prison.
