FRESNO, CA (KMJ) A pair of suspected carjackers are behind bars after Fresno County and Kings County investigators coordinated to make the bust.
On Thursday, deputies with the Fresno County Sheriff’s property crime unit, Ag task force and SWAT team served a search warrant in Riverdale following a reported carjacking.
The investigation led them to Lemoore where they found suspects Cecil Love and Mercedes Donez. (pictured)
Donez, a 34 year old resident of Riverdale, was booked into the Fresno County jail on charges of carjacking, assault with a deadly weapon and auto theft. 27 year old Love, who resides in Hanford, was charged with carjacking.
There are two outstanding suspects who are still wanted for their role in the crime.
