GALT, Calif. (KMJ) — Two suspects are now behind bars after they were caught selling thousands of dollars worth of stolen items in the Bay Area.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an investigation regarding two suspects was launched back in July after officers believed they were selling stolen items from Victoria’s Secret.
Following an investigation, officers were able to catch up with the suspects on August 22 and found them with $20,000 worth of stolen items at a flea market in Galt.
That’s when officers say both Daniel Cruz Barragan, 31, and Roberto Luna-Varela, 32, were arrested.
During a search, officers say they also recovered a variety of items from multiple retail chains, including Sephora, ULTA Beauty, Sunglass Hut, and many others.
Both suspects were booked into jail and have been charged with possession of stolen property.
