Beach closed in Monterey County Following Shark Attack

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (KMJ/FOX26) — A Pacific Grove City Councilwoman shared a post on Facebook about a shark attack on Wednesday.

Councilwoman Jenny McAdams said the attack happened at Lovers Point which is on the east side of Pacific Grove in Monterey County.

The surfer was rushed from the water to Natividad. The surfer’s condition is unknown at this time.

She said the shark was seen again in the area following the attack and the beach was been closed.
