(KMJ) — A man was rushed to the hospital Thursday evening after an argument led to a stabbing near Olive and Highway 99 in Fresno.
Fresno Police says they got a call regarding a disturbance around 6:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of W. Olive Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a man in his early 50s suffering from multiple stab wounds to both his upper and lower body. He has yet to be identified and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
According to Fresno Police, one suspect has been detained and another, believed to be a woman, has yet to be found.
Investigators say it all began after an argument broke out between the group, who is believed to be homeless and live in the area.
Fresno PD says Highway 99 at Olive was closed while crews searched the area. This incident remains under investigation.
