FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/FOX26) — Fresno City Mayor Jerry Dyer says he has tested positive for COVID-19.
The mayor tweeted that he was experiencing cold-like symptoms so he took two rapid antigen at-home COVID tests and both came back positive.
Dyer says he canceled all appointments and events scheduled for the next few days and will work remotely.
“I intend to telework as there is much to do in advance of budget roll-out,” the mayor tweeted.
Dyer says he has very mild symptoms and will follow the city of Fresno health protocols.
