(KMJ) — The brush area where highway 180 meets highway 168 burned up twice on Thursday night.
Fresno Fire Crews were first called to the area for a small brush fire just after 9 p.m. They put out the flames quickly, and left the scene.
About an hour later, crews returned to the same area, to fight another blaze.
Firefighters say there are a lot of unhoused people in tents in this area.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
