(KMJ) – The Fresno Police Department says smash and grab robbers hit the Fashion Fair Mall early Tuesday morning.
Police say the break-in happened just before 4:30 a.m. at the Michael Kors store.
That is when investigators believe a dark-colored sedan with four people inside it stopped in front of the store. Two people then got out, smashed the storefront window and grabbed as much of the merchandise as possible before running back to the car and speeding away.
This investigation have yet to put a dollar amount on what was stolen but they ask anyone who may have witnessed this crime to call Valley Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
This latest crime adds to the security concerns at Fashion Fair. It comes after Fresno’s Mayor and Police Chief met with mall officials to discuss safety following the stabbing of two teens at the retail site during a fight back on March 12th.
