FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno Police Department’s Homicide Unit is requesting the community’s help in identifying a murder suspect.
On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, Fresno Police officers were dispatched to Fairmont Avenue and Holt Avenue regarding multiple shots being fired in the area.
Officers arrived and found 17-year-old Jaylin Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Seeing Johnson fleeing, the suspect exited the vehicle, chased Johnson, and fired additional rounds, striking him several more times.
Fresno Police say Johnson did nothing to provoke this “senseless act of violence. “
The Homicide Unit is looking for information regarding the suspect vehicle and all its occupants.
Jaylin Johnson’s bother, Devin Johnson, was shot and killed at the Bowlero on February, 11th of this year.
