Lemoore Police Arrest 2 Men from Los Angeles For Stealing Diesel Fuel from Semi Trucks & Drug Paraphernalia

LEMOORE, CA (KMJ) – Lemoore Police take two men from Los Angeles into custody on charges of stealing diesel fuel, and having drug paraphernalia.

On Nov. 10, 2021 at about 10:03 PM, Lemoore police officers were dispatched to the area
of Enterprise Dr. and Commerce Way on a call of a suspicious van parking in front of
various semi trucks.

Officers located the van parked in front of one semi truck in the area, with its fuel tank open.

Through a side window, officers saw two 330 gallon tanks inside the van.

Police say there were two men inside the van pretended to be asleep.

They initially refused to open the door but ultimately complied.

Officers detained 46-year-old Adrian Flores Perez and 51-year-old Carlos Argueta, both from the Los Angeles area.

Inside the van, officers found both 330 gallon tanks were full of diesel fuel, and discovered there were three more 55 gallon barrels also with diesel fuel inside.

Officers located other semi trucks with diesel fuel spilled next to their fuel tanks.

Perez was arrested for grand theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a bench warrant. His bail was set at $76,000.

Argueta was arrested for grand theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $25,000.

This case is still under investigation.
