FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/FOX26) — Nearly 4,000 PG&E customers remain without power Tuesday after yesterday’s wind episode which swept through our local mountains and valley.

According to PG&E, 257 additional outages have been reported and about 3,603 customers are out of power in Tulare, Fresno, and Kings Counties. PG&E also says 2,956 customers within the Yosemite Division are too without power.

“In Fresno 188 of those customers are affected by a Public Safety Power Shutoff in Coalinga,” said PG&E in a statement, who also says power should be restored Tuesday by 10 p.m. “We also have two Enhanced Powerline Safety Setting outages related to the storm in Fresno affecting about 800 customers each in the Auberry and Dunlap areas. We expect those customers to be restored about 4 p.m. today.”
