(KMJ) – The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office says it has made an arrest following a shooting Monday.
Deputies say a yet-to-be identified male victim was shot behind The Pizza Factory on 5th Street in Mariposa. The man was taken to a Valley hospital for treatment, but his condition has yet to be released.
The suspect, identified as Kenny Patterson, then fled the scene, prompting a search and a lock-down of near-by schools and businesses.
The Sheriff’s Office now says Patterson has since been located and arrested. Deputies add they believe this shooting was an isolated incident.
