
FRESNO, CA. (KMJ) — Fresno police arrested a man after he climbed onto a roof trying to get away Wednesday afternoon.
Police were investigating a domestic dispute where a firearm may have been involved.
They say the wanted man took off running, jumping fences, and running through yards and eventually climbed on a roof in an attempt to escape.
More officers joined in and surrounded the area at Chestnut Ave. and Richert Ave. between Gettysburg and Ashlan Avenues.
The man eventually surrendered to officers.
Police did find a firearm.
One person was treated at the scene for medical issues but was not taken to the hospital.
