Maya Cinemas in Fresno Opens to Moviegoers Again

Maya Cinemas in Fresno announced it is reopening on Friday, April 2nd after closing its doors last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The opening weekend brings great films for all including the highly anticipated blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong, tickets available now for purchase.

The first films showing on Friday is Godzilla vs. Kong at 3:00 p.m., Lady of Guadalupe at 3:25 p.m., and Tom & Jerry at 3:50 p.m. Click here to see the full opening day schedule.

As part of Canal Maya, Maya Cinemas will continue to bring in classic movies presented by Flashback Cinema as well as independent and foreign films like Ben-Hur and Lady of Guadalupe opening on April 2nd, tickets available now for purchase.

The theater will employ many precautions upon reopening. All staff will be screened at the start of every shift and be required to wear face coverings and gloves at all times. Protective plexiglass barriers have been installed at all points of customer interaction. Increased cleaning and sanitization will take place at all times by not only all team members but the dedicated Clean Team.

Maya Cinemas will offer many theater concession favorites including popcorn, soda, and movie candies.
