FRESNO COUNTY, CA (KMJ) — A man has died after officers say his car drifted into the path of an oncoming semi truck in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says a black Volkswagen Jetta was heading westbound on Highway 180 when the driver drifted into the eastbound lane near Blythe Avenue.
The car crashed into a big rig heading eastbound, killing the driver of the Volkswagen.
The big rig driver was not injured in the accident.
Officers do not believe drugs or alcohol are a factor in this crash.
