FRESNO, CA. (KMJ) — Who would shoot a cat with a BB gun?
That’s what one southeast Fresno woman is now wondering, after she found the cat at her back door Saturday.
She says the stray was crying and appeared to be in pain.
She took it to a nearby veterinarian’s office, which later passed the cat onto the Central California SPCA.
The cat will be undergoing x-rays to find out whether there are any additional pellets.
It will then be spayed or neutered, and the BB will be removed at that time.
The CCSPCA says there is no suspect for the shooting, so an investigation has not been opened as of now.
