SELMA, CA (KMJ) – A mother and her boyfriend are arrested for child endangerment and torture of her 6-year-old boy in Selma.
Selma Police officers dispatched to on a welfare check of a 6-year-old boy, Thursday afternoon.
Officers found the boy with a number of injuries – bruising, and abrasions, and swelling to his face, head, and body.
The 6-year-old was taken to the hospital, and is in the care of Child Protective Services.
Investigators say the boy’s mother, 26-year-old Reyna Monique Rodriquez, and her 24-year-old boyfriend, Rocky Alan Stainette were taken into custody and booked at the Fresno County Jail.
They face felony charges including child endangerment, torture, and mayhem.
