Tulare County Sheriff Clarifies Controversial Tweets

(KMJ) – The Sheriff of Tulare County posts a video message in response to recent (now-deleted) tweets that expressed his frustration over nationwide protests and riots.

Sheriff Mike Boudreaux says he sincerely apologizes to anyone he may have offended. But, he wants to make it clear his intention was never to offend anyone.  Instead he says he sought to shed light on the hard working men and women who put their lives on the line to protect this Nation every day.

Message from Sheriff Boudreaux Regarding Recent Tweet

Please take a moment to watch the video below that addresses a recent post Sheriff Boudreaux made on his social media pages. The tweet and Facebook post was not shared in its entirety by other users and caused discord. As soon as Sheriff Boudreaux realized his words were being taken out of context and misconstrued, he deleted it. Sheriff Boudreaux regrets deeply that this is happening. And he sincerely apologizes to anyone he may have offended. He is a staunch believer in representing the people of Tulare County in a manner that they can be proud of. Anything short of that is unacceptable. He is truly sorry to anyone who took offense to his words. The Sheriff wants to make it clear that his intention was NEVER to offend anyone, but rather to shed light on the hard working men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us every day.
