Nation Sees Record Filing for Unemployment Amid COVID-19 Crisis

(KMJ) – Nearly 3.3 million Americans applied for unemployment benefits last week.  And that more than quadruples the previous record set in 1982.

And these filings come amid the widespread economic shutdown caused by the coronavirus.
