(KMJ) – Effective immediately: Valley Children’s Hospital is changing its visitor policy over concerns about the coronavirus.
Until further notice only parents, guardians or direct caregivers will be allowed entry into the hospital with patients. And those allowed into Valley Children’s will be subject to screening in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Health Department guidelines.
Those include asking anyone who enters the Madera County facility if they have recently traveled to China or any other area now associated with the outbreak of COVID-19.
