No Sexual Assault Charges for Monsignor Craig Harrison

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ News) — The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday afternoon that it’s unable to file charges of sexual assault against Catholic Monsignor Craig Harrison.

Investigators say while allegations of abuse made against Harrison appear credible, the applicable statute of limitations prohibits charges for crimes that reportedly occurred in the 90s.

The DA’s office adds that delayed reporting is not uncommon in sexual assault cases.
