TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ) — A farm worker was killed after being run over by a tractor Tuesday morning.
Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a grape vineyard in the area of Avenue 8 and Road 156 near Delano around 11:15 a.m.
When deputies got to the orchard, they found a man trapped under a tractor.
Deputies learned the man got off the tractor when it broke down and was trying to fix it when it rolled onto him.
Emergency crews attempted CPR but the man died at the scene.
