(KMJ) – Investigators with the Turlock Police Department have identified the suspect sought for shooting an off-duty Merced County Sheriff’s deputy last summer.
Deputy Christian Galvan continues to recover from the wounds he suffered in the August 18th shooting on the 100 block of South First Street in Turlock.
Now, police in that city have issued an arrest warrant for 42-year-old Osbaldo Gaytan (a.k.a Osbaldo Gaytan-Mota). He’s now wanted for attempted murder but Turlock investigators do not know where he is currently living.
Turlock Police now ask anyone who spots Gaytan to call the Stanislaus County Crime Stoppers Tip Line at: 1-866-602-7463
