Former President Jimmy Carter was admitted to the hospital after suffering a fall at his Georgia home Monday night.
According to the director of communications for the Carter Center, Deanna Congileo, the ex-president was taken to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for observation.
He was treated for a minor pelvic fracture.
Congileo said “He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home.”
This is Carter’s second fall in less than 30 days, he fell in his home two weeks ago while he was getting ready for church and received 14 stitches above his brow.
Carter turned 95 earlier this month.
