STOCKTON, CA (KMJ) – Stockton’s former mayor is sentenced Monday in conflict of interest case.
The case has gone on for three years, $5,000 from the mayoral discretionary fund was directed to the Kids Club of Stockton in 2013.
The Former Mayor of Stockton Anthony Silva was facing a felony charge from his decision to move the funds before he left office.

After the prosecution agreed to drop a number of other felony counts, Silva pleaded no contest to a single conflict-of-interest charge in May.
Silva will spend 90 days in an alternative work program, pay more than $19,000 in restitution and be under probation for three years.
