FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The second child of Sherri Telnas, the Porterville woman charged with drowning her sons, has passed away.
The Tulare County Coroner’s Office says the official cause of death for Telnas’ 7-year-old boy is “fresh water drowning.”
Telnas faces life in prison for drowning him and her now-deceased 12-year-old son, in an irrigation ditch near a corn field.
The 45-year-old could also face the death penalty.
