Arrest Made Following Break-In At Downtown Fresno Church

(KMJ) – Surveillance video captured two men forcing their way into the First Presbyterian Church on M and Calaveras in Downtown Fresno on April 20th.

According to Fresno Police, those two suspects then stole electronic equipment from the house of worship.

Friday, May 3rd, Officers say they identified and arrested one of those men.  29-year old Isaiah Jepeda is a confirmed, active gang member who was released from prison just five days before the burglary.  He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail for burglary and probation violation.

The second suspect in this case remains at-large.  Fresno Police describe him as a Hispanic Male between the ages of 30 and 35.  He’s 5′ 10″, 200 pounds with shoulder-length black hair.   Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to contact Fresno Burglary Detectives at 621-6144 or Valley Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
